Alone
Are you scrambling for a reason?
Do you have a great excuse?
It's not always something physical
The way you deal abuse
As I'm crumpled in the corner,
You've abandoned every need
Still, I thought you'd show emotion
As
you sit and watch me bleed
I believed in you in springtime,
In the mountains, with the frost
Through a hot and steamy summer
Said you'd stay ... at any cost
Now it's barely even autumn
And all promises are tossed
I'll spend winter with the weary
All comparing what we've lost
Are you able to get past this
Unafraid of moving on
Can you live without the music
When the harmonies are gone
Is there someone else who's waiting
For your hand to ring their phone?
Well, go on, don't let me keep you
I'm returning too ... alone.
