Rain could fall and thunder strike

The roses bloomed
And the daisies did the same
Yet winter crushed them all
As quickly as they came
I never would have thought
That I'd be left alone
But I swear I would have been different
If only I had known
Our love was forever
I swore it by my name
Yet you took it all away
