You lifted me up when I was down
You gave me a smile when I had a frown
You are the one to pull me out of a storm
You gave me your heart when mine was torn
You take me to a far away place
You give me the spirit that shines on my face
You are the reason I get up everyday
You make me sad when you can no longer stay
You wipe my tears when I cry
You mend my wings when I couldn’t fly
You’re first in line when I’m in pain
You are my shelter in the rain
You kept me going when I couldn’t go
Could you be my Romeo?
