TRUE STORY

She tells her kids she'll be back by tomorrow,
What they don't is that her job brings her pain and sorrow.
The only way she knows how to make money, is what she doesn't want her kids to know so, she tells them she has to go to work, not letting them know, gives each of her kids a kiss and says
"I'll be back tomorrow Honey."
She goes out the door heading for her corner,
waiting for a guy that wants to bone her.
After her day is through,
She has enough money to go buy herself something new.
Knowing the money came from doing something dirty,
She buys things that are necessary for her kids,
deep down inside she is hurting.
Wondering if her life could get any better,
She sees on the table that she received a letter.
She opens the letter with dread,
Reading what the outside said.
The government were taking her babies,
Next door were some nosey ladies.
They had reported her case to the police, she had to take care of her kids on her own because the daddy was deceased.
What she thought was good for them, now she has to leave them,
their little broken hearts that no one can mend.
With all that sacrifice that was done by her they have to leave her side,
It's the law she did not abide.
She worked so hard to give her kids everything from the start,
and her reward at the end was being lonely, and a broken heart.
