Dark Times

In these dark times it seems like no one cares
Like I'm all alone hopeful yet scared
Every morning I rise hoping for things to get better
But it seems to never happen
Ii feel like the world has just given up on me
Ii feel so unsure and unloved
But it is my own love and understanding of myself
That gets me through these dark times
And if I can believe in myself then
Just maybe
Other people can too
