The
Night Is In Her Eyes
I
can see the night in her brown eyes as she begins to cry
tears of sadness fall down her cheek as I wonder why
I can see the nights mist in her stare
and wet tears evaporating in to thin air
Heart
ache and tears are what I want to wipe away
as she longs for my touch and bids me to stay
Her
beautiful eyes ever so full of pain
make my heart go numb as her tears fall like soft rain
The
nights cold chill of air runs deep inside her chest
so deep goosebumps appear on her naked breast
I
can feel the nights gush of wind flow out her mouth
and it takes me aback slowly
as I look at her bedroom wall that reads "South"
To
you it's South ... to us it's Sur
one of the baddest gangs to ever run the streets
They're the ones always cruisin in blue
and bumpin those loud beats
They're
also the ones who gave my angel a world of pain
and it started out when she was young and dreaming of fame
wanting to be a chola and wanting to be all up in that thug life
that would later bring her those nights of terror and much strife
As
she cries on my shoulder I can feel her heart beat deep
Deep like the bass she would bump in her jeep
Takin sips of 40's with the homies,
cruisin the night dancin all night at the club
smokin bud, gettin in fights
She
had her fun...she shed her tears
She wasted her life, she admits, for a couple of years
as I hold her gently, I begin to caress her face
and kiss the beauty that I love and tears that I erase
The
night is in her eyes and her soul runs deep
may tears disappear and love take their place
as we slowly fall asleep...
