I See You

I see you with me
Walking hand in hand down the street
Everybody we pass doesn't seem to care
Except for the people who say hello to us
I see us finally getting to a house
A house that we call our own
We make love in every room
I wake up the next day and you are still there
I know something is wrong
I can't believe you are here with me
Someone wake me up
You reach over and touch me so gently
You whisper in my ear "I Love You"
You make so happy and complete
I hear someone calling me
I listen for your voice
But, as it becomes closer
It begins to fade
Wait for me I shout
The early morning sun hits my face
I turn and I don't see you
I realize that once again I awake to just another morning alone
