We are not updating the site right now but we
are planning to add some new content soon. Please
hold off on sending poems right now. We are trying
to set up a new system to make posting easier.
We are looking for possible Sleepy Lagoon "cover
girls". If you are a photogenic Latina interested
in modeling please send in some pics. We will not
post these pics or distribute them in any way without
your prior permission. We are mainly hoping to make
some "pin-up" style pics -- also some
simple "girl-next-door" type of images.

Do
you have old photographs from the 30s, 40s, 50s,
or early 60s of your relatives, barrio, high
school, etc.? If you have a scanner, please make
a copy of the photos and send them into us. We want
to create an historic photographs section for the
site. See tjhe Sleepy Lagoon Case section for examples
of historic black-and-white photographs.

We are trying to get back to posting poems more regularly.
We get so many that we decided that we can't make
a separate page for each one. So now we are putting
a bunch of poems on one page. This may not look as
good but at least the poems will be posted faster
for you.

couple of weeks. If you can think of a good poll question,
send it in. We restored an old album that hasn't been
on the site for a couple of years now: pictures from
the Boss Entertainment Show in City of Industry from
'98. The best thing at this show was the concert (Brenton
Wood) and the Heineken Girl. Remember her?
