City Terrace is an area of unincorporated county land east of Boyle Heights. Thousands of residents were displaced from this neighborhood when the San Bernardino Freeway was constructed in the 1950s. City Terrace Drive features many fine murals and there are fine views of Los Angeles and surrounding cities from the steep hills that rise from the heart of this neighborhood.
